My daughter and I stayed at the Anasa Retreat house and we found it to truly be a retreat. The outside terrace overlooks a valley and we could hear the goats and sheep that dot the landscape. Within view of the terrace is an old church dedicated to St John the Hermit — many of these churches are tucked away and built into the landscape around Crete.

The home itself was equipped with everything we'd need while traveling. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. Views from the infinity pool are beautiful. In the kitchen we found all appliances we could want including the Nespresso machine.

We didn't want to leave when our time was up and we count down the days until we can go again.
